Confirm the five players and their roles
Check the actual roster before using team results. Stand-ins, academy lineups and role changes can make an older sample difficult to apply. A player keeping the same team name does not mean the responsibilities around that player stayed the same.
Role comfort matters alongside individual form. I look at who is expected to create first contact, who supports that entry and how the team covers the rest of the map. When those responsibilities change, the team may need time to develop a reliable plan.
Follow the veto into the composition
Build the most plausible map sequence, then assess each side's likely composition and approach. An agent choice makes more sense when you connect it to the space the team wants, the utility it needs and the fights it wants to take.
Comfort and execution matter. A composition that looks convincing on paper still needs clear timing and coordination. I am interested in how the pieces work together: information, entry support, site control and the plan after the spike is planted.
Look at how advantages are created
A team that wins many rounds through exceptional individual plays may have a different level of consistency from a team that repeatedly creates favourable fights with utility. Both can win; the question is how the opposing style interacts with that approach.
Review opening duels in context, the follow-up after an opening advantage, and how a team handles the economy across successive rounds. Pistol and conversion rounds affect a scoreline, so I avoid treating every close final score as evidence of identical team strength.
Use a matchup scenario
Imagine Team A prefers quick, coordinated site hits while Team B is comfortable gathering information and reacting later in the round. I would look for whether Team A can deny that information and keep its timings difficult to read. If it repeatedly shows the same approach, Team B may have a clearer route to adjusting.
That is a hypothetical example. For an actual match, the lineup, the maps and recent footage have to support the story. If one of those assumptions changes, the prediction should be reconsidered.
Keep confidence tied to the evidence
A familiar organisation or a strong recent result should not hide gaps in the information. Limited footage, an uncertain roster or a new composition are reasons to be more cautious about a precise score prediction.
